i no its not a corsa, but theres some other non corsa projects so, plus ive had 3 corsas on here so think i can get away with it

Anyways its a:

1.3 mk1 golf 'driver'
mars red
7 owners (but then again its 26 years old)

just had a full service with previous owner:

head gasket
cambelt
waterpump
plugs/leads
points cleaned
coolant change
oil and filter
new brakes all round

Got some pics of it today, havnt cleaned/polished it yet, a mate of mine is mopping it as it has a few swirl marks which i want rid of but what 26 year car hasnt to be honest..

have to say the pictures do it some justice, it is a little rough around the edges, quite a few stone chips, front panel has quite abit of surface rust (not rotten), mark below the rear boot lock, and scratchs down the top of the drivers wing where it meets the bonnet at the front..

apart from the above its sound, sills are very clean, so are inner arches, boot floor and scuttle panel..

wont be long at all till the mods start coming

yer planning on keeping this, long term project..

reason for this is because its a classic, where as a corsa is just a corsa imo so i dont mind throwing abit of money at this..

wheels should be here tomorrow, should be ordering coilovers in the next few days..

no they didnt mate and im gutted, found out they had my postcode wrong, so its all sorted now and they will be here in the morning they said..

il tidy the bay up etc but the 1.3 is staying

thats the reason me buying a 1.3, for it being a 1.3 (sump sits high), i could have had a gti but the sumps sit very low and i dont want to start putting holes in sumps..

Borbet t's 7j front/8j rear

the toyos on the 8js are scrap, but il be putting the 195/45/14 rainsports on the rear, and ive got some goodyear 175/50/14s to put on the 7js..
