Somewhere between half 11 and 1:45 my car got broken into this evening.
Went to pick some mates up from town and straight away noticed my headunit gone.
They have taken my Alpine Headunit, my ipod, my twin subs and amp, my fags, money and all my cd's.
This is the second time its happened to one of my cars.
First time they bent the door back but this time nothing was broken?
Everything was locked, but they had somehow got the boot open and managed to get inside and open the passengers door.
Never felt so gutted I really feel totally lost and dont really know what to do.

Boot was locked, do have an alarm but stopped working a month ago and yes the facia was left on as I was going back out in it a couple of hours later.

hours later? Theives are there and gone in minutes. A mate of mine had a Mint black Series one rep, 2ltr zetec block, anti-lag, you name it, it had it. He left it running outside his house for 5minutes while he ran inside to get something, to find it gone Never leave anything on display. Its an advertiser for a chancer. You was kind of asking for it, especially not getting the alarm fixed.

Agreed it is well harsh it always best to be careful, in my corsa I always took my facia as well even if i was gone for 2 mins.
But saying that even with me being careful, an alarm, parked under a street light on a busy street, a camera pointed at the car and leaving the glovebox open it did not stop some fucker (excuse my french) from smashing my window to steal the tax disk it only had one month on it then they jumped in a nearby waiting car and drove off

Ive been going through all these idea's in my head, its the second time its happened to a car I own so starting to think im being targetted, and they must know what i had in my car and the fact i hadnt been setting the alarm
But i will never know for sure, going to report it to the police in abit, doubt anything will come of it but better doing something rather than nothing.
Tbh im going to sell the car asap, sick of the attention and risk it gets, the mk4 astra gsi i was going to get in 3 months will definitly have to be put in on hold

Yep i think someone knew my alarm wasnt working, they know my car and they know what i had in it.
Cheers Wooly, was going to get a silver one but tbh for the minute I think im going to sell this one and buy something cheap and standard like a 106 diesal.
Its hard to get into my car now knowing some little cunt has been in it.

This happened to me, i parked up outside my mates house, locked the car and when i came back to go home from my mates across the road my Alpine had gone, glovebox had been rummaged through and back seats were leant forward..
what made it even worse was that there were no signs of entry at all i had a semi boot too so they couldnt do that trick..

Been to the police station and reported it.
Had to add up an amount of how much the stuff was worth and it didn't really help as it turned to be alot more than i expected.
Has heavily put me off getting a new car, was only 3 months and a week now until Im due to get one, was looking forward to getting a MK4 Astra Gsi in Silver but now I can only think what else might happen?
Im going to try and get back into how things where but i really do hate driving and being in my green one at the moment, and if i still go for the astra I will be investing in a decent alarm and immobiliser.

you can make the bootlid open and unlock by getting in from behind the number plate. them small squares that the number plate screws go through.

Good thing to be writing on a public forum, every fucker will be getting broken into.
That does work btw, locked myself out my first corsa once.

its very common knowledge though. its a lot more fiddly and time comsuming than bending the door back so i dont really think most if any corsas get broken in to in that way.
