Get to fcuk! Please don't argue, I had a mint black Nova 1.4 SR and a SXi on 17's and they were the same, when I sold the Nova I raced my SXi with my mate driving my SXi and it was side by side all the way.

I've raced my mates 1.4SR and it beat me by quite a bit. When we raced (b4 he sold it) he had a cat back system and I didn't.... he was running 15's, I was running 16's.

No it doesn't, but I just put that to save argument. Anyhow, for anyone that does wanna argue that point, my gearbox has been replaced anyhow, and it was with a SXi one...

Yeh Sxi has a close ratio gear box like in the sports... Thats what makes it different from the other 1.2 16vs...

Well, I think you'll find that all 1.2 16v have the same close ratio box. Mine was replaced with a refurb out of a SXi, and I've noticed absolutely no difference to gearing.

Thats why I did'nt put it in the first place, can't be arsed to argue.

I still have the orignal brochure for the Corsa range back in 2000, and the stats clearly state that the SXi has different gear ratios.

PLEASE DO NOT ARGUE THE ABOVE

Fair enough, but I think that's just marketing.

It's like the Vectra GSi says lowered and uprated suspension, which it does have, but so does every SRi and V6.
