Got my manifold, tial external gate and external pipe back from Zircotec today, went for performance White... Really happy with the finish..






Got my order from Opie oils through too

Gearbox oil



Running in oil x2



General oil x 3

wounder how long it will stay white for , my blue marked so easy thats why i had it re done in black , makes such a diffrence to temps tho

That manifold is stunning! Very risky in white though, I learn that quickly with my ceramic coated one

According to them its there toughest coat, all the colours have a base of white... I did think about going black but I thought white would go better with car!!! My friends had metalic black, I fitted his all up today looks epic...

true gotta remember this is a toy and stays in garage in crap weather... did 1,643 miles last year lol

Hopefully stay mint then!

Will suit car perfectly, just hope doesn't end up with oily marks! Make sure you have about 20 pairs of gloves when fittings

Got alot done recently..

First of was to rivnut the mounts for oil pressure sensor and fuel pressure sensors




Got my head back from Steveboyslim

Spec is:

Piper Cams (blanks)
Solid lifters with shims deep locating
Double springs steel retainers
Stem seal to suit double springs
Spring platform
Calisbro valve guides
Nimonic 80 +1 exhaust valves
Stainless waisted stem +1 inlets valves
Neil Roper Port bore inlet and exhaust ports, fettle cylinder head blend ports open out throat area
Skim head




Exhaust Ports



Inlet Ports



Getting ready for bolt down, HKS head gasket fitted...






Doing timing





Carried on rebuilding






Fitted R888's properly wont last long



Got him running, yer for easy drive covered 40 miles dropped the oil, checked for leaks etc all ok




Took few snaps










Thats all for now

Impressive update that is, looks like you have got a real eye for detail to looks good mate, what's your fleet of vauxhall cars now? Got a few haven't you?

Cheers, I'm just glad it's running... Small things make the car IMO... As for the fleet have Above car, Astra VXR, Corsa VXR-R and daily runner Corsa C

Looking absolutely sensational I really love the attention to detail.

One thing that would bug me though is that bloody purple fuel rail.
Not fancy getting it re-anodised black?
