on average how much does it cost to do a c20let conversion on a corsa?

strengthening plates
driveshafts
complete engine, ecu, loom and turbo
f28 gearbox
engine mounts

probably missed a couple of things

If you get it rebuilt it would be about £4k.

can bodge it together for cheapish sort of. looking at maybe 1500 minumum. ideally a real conversion would cost you a few grand. yeah sure bobby tompson from down the car park has a mate called jez that fired one in for 50p and its never broke, but really do it right first time and save hassle later on.

yeah, wouldnt bodge it, but using all standard parts, gaskets, rings, bearings ect. wouldnt be more than say 260 bhp, would standard parts be ok?

not on std parts it wont. you need to run some sort of chips in the ecu to get that kind of power from one. cheap enough though. a rebuild with std parts wont add power. maybe gain back the power it had lost from been an old and tired engine.

remember to get an f28 fwd conversion plate, oh and also to split the gearbox to change the speedo ring on the diff from the blue one to a black one from an f16 or f20 to get the speedo to work right.

Assuming you can find a decent condition mechanical F28 to use in the first place!
