I think alot of it depends if you do the work yourself, or pay somebody else to do it.

Some people on here have used a well known person to fit an engine for them, and then from what ive seen regreted it.

That may have just been down to the quality of the work, i really couldnt say.

depends what suspension it has. i mean its not that bad, and its nowhere near as bad as people who have never drove one suggest it to be. its not the greatest handling car in the world, as what lets it down is its a corsa to begin with.

RYAN89: me and my brother will be doing the work so lots of pennies will be saved in that area
nic: ive got spax adjustables 40mm lowering, would you advise gettign bigger poundage springs for the front or will the normal ones be ok?

i have and let corsa with gsi front shocks on 60mm springs and about 65mm springs on the rear, only due to the fact that i havnt got round to putting some decent suspension on it yet,

but i wouldnt listern to what people say as mine doesnt handle too bad

saying that tho ive only been round a sharp right hand corner a couple of times as its on a farm

what does it handle like going left lol. yeah ive been in a redtop corsa and that handled orite so i cant see a turbo weighing it down much more for it to handle bad :ihope: lol

if you consider it will be quick going forwards and average round bends thats all you need to know really.

People always go over board with high poundage springs on the front like 300lb+ not need at all thats why they under steer so bad, the higher the poundage at the front the more understeer you get, ideally you need high poundage springs at the back as it helps rear grip and improves front turn in. yo

I designed a 205GTI rear IRS system BTW so know suspension stuff quite well.

i always had the front lowish and the back standard with lower pressures in the rear, seemed to handle pretty wheel and like san eel said reduces understeer

aye when I took my corsa sxi to a small sprint circuit I tested to tyre pressures a lot I found the back was best at 24psi and the front 28psi
