Im looking to insure with them, b4 i call them, wots their view on mods? how do they cover them and do they up the cost much... all help appreciated. thanks.....

alloys (17's),
induction kit,
bodykit

its worth noting that the mods only put the premium up by £12 by the way
if u crash they repair the car to what it was like b4 the crash as well

Liv-Vic added £11.20 on for a BFO cone and a twin 4.5" jap-style full stainless steel exhausts system for me...

So yeah, I'd say they're pretty good with mods! And they're like-for-like, as bcocky said above!

they count my filter and unichip as engine mods. all they do is tick a box on the computer so when I phoned to tell them I had the UNICHIP removed I did not get any money back caue the filter was still on as an engine mod so box stayed ticked

They fucked me over when I rang them up then.

The bloke said to me, because I am only 19 with 2 years no claims. That they would not insure a car with more then one modification.

Hmmm and I got quoted £1000 on a 1.2 16v @ 21 (i do have a claim and 3 points behind me though)...

Seems that it depends on who you talk to there. Some people get amazing quotes, some get good, some get average and some get poor ones.

Its like that at Tesco's, depends who you talk to on how much more they want off you for mods.

think its very dependant on where u live as well, Stubbsy and me got really good quotes, but mine was better than his even though Im a year younger, we both have 2 years ncd but they wantd £150 ish less from me. I live i nthe absoloute middle of nowhere which probably does it
