Just bought a car and it seems to be smoking more than my old 1.0 12v... What could it be?

The smoke is white and theres quite a bit?

im hoping condensation... after reading the related threads underneath... ive only just bought it so im HOPING its not the head gasket!

have a smell at the smoke. if it smells of fuel then timming could be out. if not then its prob head.fill water level up to a mark that you can see. run the engine for a while and see if the level drops.
