Depends what they are intended for, on a Corsa B I would go 15's to keep it handling well, but I do like Corsa B's slammed on a nice set of 16's, some cars suit different size wheels depending on the styling.

Personally Im going with 16's

Never had a corsa with 16s only 15s on all of them and they handle well with the right suspension set up and tyres etc.

How well do they handle with 16s in comparison?

15"s for handling and performance
16"s for "best of both worlds"
17"+ for show whoares

Had 15"s, 16"s looked better, but the same suspension on 15"s was VASTLY superiour!!!!!

17"s feel all wallowy and high, even if dropped 60mm odd.

Yeah thats for Corsa B's.

Can't comment on the others with experienced accuracy

Also the bigger the wheel size, the less speed at top end (with standard small block engines), as they simply don't have enough power. Acceleration also goes bye byes.

Ahhh i remember having plenty of plays on my 15"s with a guy on his brand new 18"s and new 1.6 Sport... He'd have me top end, but acceleration in gear was a minimally in my favour. Ton upwards and he'd have me though

15's were better for handling in my expierience, but 16's steal it for me - seem to fill the arch just right

personally think, if the wheels are an et49 offset fitment - then 16s for sure, its a winner with an healthy drop, and they fill the arches much better.

16" with a 60mm drop does it for me. Just isn't the same without lowering, trust me

If you get the tyre profiles right you can get 16's to have nearly the same size outer diameter in which case the handling is the same, actually sharper with the 16's due to the lower profile tires.

Bigger wheels make the speedo under read and the car have more top end. smaller wheels make the speedo over read and give you less top end.

Wheel size is only half the story, it depends on the profile of the tire to determine the outer radius. IE a 14" wheel with 65 profile tires would have a larger outer circumference than a 15" wheel on 40 profile tires.
