Well, its been a while.

Might already have updated about some bits but meh.

Got side reps on, was going to put my dark dark smoked ones on that looked mint on Betty, but they were just too black for a white car so the light smoked ones will have to do. They look okay tbh.

Also got my skirts fitted

Also fitted the Tiggy scuttle.
Painted the scuttle, wipers and bolt covers matt black. Was an okay job, dont know if im 100% happy so might end up re-doing it yet

Love it though

Er, also went to garage, they sorted my exhaust out cheapo, but didnt re-make the pipe as i couldnt afford that anyways, so will have to wait and see what pay day says about that.

Decided was time to start reppin' again

Car is still in desperate need of some TLC and a decent clean, but working away at a new Wickes store atm (hence the high viz) and country roads + rain + white car = disaster

Was working Friday 7.30am at new store, left there at 3pm and started at my store 7pm till 8am - silly hours, but means soon i can look at sorting out the rust around rear wiper hole and bit on slam panel, i can also look into getting my gauges Also floor mats and plain (3/4) front plates.

Like to make sure my car is safe at night, and seeing as though i couldnt get it inside

Update time.

Ordered new plates for VeeTwo. When they arrived they werent what i had expected. It was smaller, but larger than the 3/4 i had previously. Wasnt immediately liking it, but reserved judgement till it was on the car.

Once on, i really liked it, it fitted in the recess nicely, and was better looking than the smaller 3/4's IMO

Car cleaned pre-trax

Engine cover added and oil cap taken apart

Trax was great

Decided that i would do something with my silver centre cap nuts as they looked out of place being silver. So painted them up matt black

Seeing as though i had a day off today i also cleaned her, again

Then went for pictures

Working on getting funds together so i can sort out my boot re: wiper hole rust and the screw plates for the number plate - once taken out and smoothed over i will get the plain rear plate on also
Other than that, pretty happy with her. Just in need of a full service which ill sort out soon

really like this, feel you went for the wrong colour on the wheels though, they look yellowie against the car, personally i would have done them glacier white like the car

Thanks. Yeah, the wheels were painted championship white, which when i had a black car (and no intention of getting any other car, ever) they were white enough. In some lights they look yellow, in others they look white and unnoticeable. But meh. I like it

Decided to clean the car properly one last time before winter, when it will just be getting washed down.

Dirty VeeTwo

Two bucket method

Bit of dirt

Washed

Clayed

Paint on rear bumper thats been there since i got her, finally got it all off

Polished

Then i had this to play with...

Sexy

and obviously it rained over night

Messed about with another little thing thats been bugging me also. Retrimmed my boot panel a while back, and i no longer used my parcel shelf clips.

So i got two more

Chopped and sanded

Little bit of filler

Painted

Before

After

Much better IMO
