I honestly googled it and it automatically changed to a C. I knew it was a K in my mind though. Should of gone with my instinct.

Kunifer is a brand name, it's just a cupro-nickel alloy.

What's wrong with copper pipe anyway?

last night, until some daft hour like 5am i think it was , were at the dyno as my mates celica gt4 was getting mapped. as its a 2wd dyno, had to remove the prop first.

car has front mount, piper cams on verniers, full 3" turbo back exhaust and a dta ecu. had to swap the std fuel pump for a walbro one as it was dropping pressure once at around 275 ish bhp.

decent power it made.

flames quite a bit. set the lanch control up late last night will get a video of it another time. sounds nuts though. one of the loudest cars ive ever heard on the dyno.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4TN2IhVdeI&list=UU3JDKHXF95TEOWYSYN8bmfw&feature=plcp

thats a video of my mates soarer that was mapped yesterday also. makes 400 bhp on about a bar of boost. its on a fair sized t4 turbo, which is capable of 700bhp or so. best sounding car ive ever been in.

oddly the above is probably more interesting that a vauxhall corsa is to most people on here. fuck it.

That lovely red oil pressure light isn't what you want to see at 8k rpm. Guess that's one dead corsa stranded in the middle of nowhere. Nice.

I managed to catch mine before it killed my engine, when running a new engine in you need to remove and clean the relief valve as it gets blocked up and sticks, tell tale on mine was 40psi no matter what load so new something was wrong, hopefully all is not lost though mate as I love this car

I knocked it off pretty much as soon as I noticed it. Can't have been on longer than a second or 2. Its got a new noise to it, I've not span a shell before so dunno what that sounds like. When I fired it back up it wasn't knocking just had a slight weird rsttle when gave throttle a quick blip. I'm gonna collect the car tonight as I dumped it at a mates. Quite pissed off with it. The oil pump was a few years old so wasn't new when I rebuilt it. It's had good oil pressure though. Fuckin cars. Cost me a fuckin fortune at times.

if the pump has gone again like it did last time, im in 2 minds wether to...

a, fit z20let pump and modded pick up
b, get steel gears from sbd for c20let pump

it has no oil pressure issues with the std pump on, obviously when its working that is unlike last night.

steel gear and new outer gear and also nylon releif valve from sbd is roughly £200 plus vat. z20let pump and modded pick up is over 300. depends how cheap i can get a genuine pump and pipe for though as im sure i can get the pipe modded by jdm without any troubles.

choices..........thats if thats all it is. if it needs bearings again, nice.......
