bought an engine holder today...easier to work on my engine now, can turn it upside down to changer things and will come handy to gunk the whole engine down
thats it for now, ordering engine mounts tomorrow and will just be gunking the engine and painting it ready to go back in when the mounts arrive
took a pic with my inlet and manifold on tidy (took the manifold back off after the pics)


engine will be tidy when its all clean and painted

cheers mate!! neither can i, shoud be in by end of next week at the latest...so not long now, can do some things to the car itself then, like taking the fog lights off and things then, just the little bits and peices like

(LITTLE UPDATE)

engine is now painted, still need to order my engine mounts tho, think i will get them tomorrow...
cleaned my throttle bodie up nice and shiny, smoothed the inside out abit aswel (not by the butterfly tho just incase :lol
dont know wheather to keep the plastic cover on tho? its not on properly in the pic as the rocker cover is just siting there, not bolted in

looks pretty cool inside!

Black, the only colour you should paint drums tbh they look chavvy and tacky in anyother colour

got new manifold bolts and exhaust bolts today so just waiting for the engine mounts now and thats it, should hopefully be in by next weekend now...should be gettng my phone back tomorrow aswel can puty pics up again then ( not just ones out the back of my house) will get some nice pics up then of

got my gsi bumper today!!! everything on it, got a complete bumper, the splitter and fogs are in really good condition too, just going to get it sprayed nw and i will put some pics up.
i swapped it for my irmscher splitter and fogs, love it when you dont have to dip into your pockets ( until i get it sprayed )

bought my engine mounts yesterday, so they will be here on monday morning, will be putting the engine back in then!!

awesome project mate, wish my car would actually work tidy so that i could tune it, given up on my ecotec lump now gonna get a redtop in the spring
