If my memory serves me correctly I'm pretty sure the Corsa Haynes actually tells you to remove the front bumper. Maybe they're not allowed to tell you to 'niggle' it in until it slots in

Not for the grill but it does for the headlights to come out!

And again, the Haynes manual is lying, the bumper can stay fitted when you take out the headlights.
