Best thing he did smashing that up lol. Bit of an ugly motor!

At most I'd do looks wise is 40mm lower and later SRI wheels.

That's just a typical vauxhall fuel gauge.

To add, they are good engines, I liked mine, they don't get anywhere near forum claimed figures unless you drive like a granny everywhere.

pow is clearly pissed off at morning traffic mpg.

No idea if it's fly-by-wire and all that shite, but some 1.7CDTi's have cruise, iirc, so in theory, yes

not to sure about the 1.3 but i have an sri 1.7cdti it drives nicely seems to handle well and i get at least 450 miles to a full tank normally more average mpg is around 47 best ever was 58 but that was on a 350 mile motorway run to Scotland from the midlands.

mines on 40k has got a few of the normal corsa c dash rattles and some of the led's that back light the heater controls have stopped working, oh and it needs a new steering rack, this seems to be normal at around 40k

Never heard of that. Only probs with my friends 1.7 is the gear linkages. due to abuse more than anything.

Lovely haha. Heard C's have probs with linkages in general?

Just looked on a site called honest john and it mentioned steering racks also.

There was a recall on the C's iirc. They replaced a plastic linkage with metal or something.
