All of the above sound about right

By the way its going to a fairly strict garage so im expecting a long failure slip

B pillar cracks, excessive play in d/s track rod, emmissions and handbrake.

Always the one when people remove the headlight then just throw them back in after a conversion.

excessive corrosion to prescribed area - sills / FR strut top / FL strut top / front cross member / seatbelt mounts.
wheels not attached properly
no engine - not suitable for road use
excessive play in the excessive play generator

Well just dropped it off, not a nice feeling leaving it there but hey ho

Emissions is going to obviously fail
Headlight alignment Im not sure on as I put standard headlights back in with adjusters but chances are they will fail it anyway

B3KAN - Yes mate gave it a good overhaul before it went in, checked everything over twice, and it was just recently serviced so fingers crossed.

But Im ready for a failure slip already

do they not alter the headlight alignment?. im sure the last time mine was done they told me it was off and they sorted and didnt put it down as a failure.

Not supposed to but a nice tester will, usually if its the only fail..

should of dumped a bottle of redex in the tank to take care of the emmisions

yeh they can turn the screw ontop of the headlight to adjust it... i good tester ill normally just do it aslong as the rest of the cars ok

It Failed

Passed on emissions which Im rather pleased with

Failed on the following:

.Nearside Headlamp Insecure

.Offside Headlamp aim too High

.Nearside rear brake binding

.offside rear brake hose ferrule excessively corroded

.nearside rear brake hose ferrule excessively corroded

.Nearside front seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded

.Offside front seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded

.Offside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded

.Nearside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded

.Nearside front front contstant velocity joint gaiter split

.Nearside rear brake cable has restricted free movement

.Offside rear brake cable has restricted free movement

.Offside Rear parking Brake recording little or no effort

.Parking brake efficiency below requirements


Ah well gives me something to do I suppose

everythings a very easy fix apart from the welding....

most of the brake work can be sorted in one go...

Tbh its not much mate, except the welding but untill you hack away at it you wont know how bad it is
