i like the 2 tone theme but i would get the bumper bottoms done back in silver and just leave the bumper tops. arches and skirts darker!

nice motor tho!

reminds me of the 2000 edition saxo vtr that was 2 tone. would look cool is the lower half of rear was silver maybe, would flow from the chunk of bumper down the sills and then have a band of anthracite around the rear? hmmmm maybe not then lol

just some small updates:

cut up a piston to check crown thickness in standard pistons and rod clearence ready to potentialy get some custom ones made up:

not too bad. oe pistons are pretty light weight to be fair don't think they'd take any abuse at all.

today finally got round to stripping coilovers off giving them a clean up as in my haste to get them on, i didnt coat them with grease:

alot better then i thought they would be to be fair
cleaned them up and gave a good coat of white grease and let it set before fitting

all made much easier using compressor mrs got me for xmas lol

then these little bad boys arrived today

was going to go tapers but jumped on a group buy and got these soo cheap i couldn't pass it up, havent ordered trumpets yet as im not quite sure what size i want but 90mm is very likely,

just got to ring up and get a manifold ordered

then strip down time finally of the 1.8 though it freezing outside now

just struggling to find some where to do it all
