What will fitting a thicker front Arb achive ? Me and warrenz where deep in discusion in bed about this, He reckon's his car was better Arb'less

i took my front arb off to see what its like and it feels a bit better around corners might just be me thinking that tho lol

Removing it will increase front GRIP but make the handling worse eg become more wooly/ unstable at higher speeds.

Yep, that's what i felt. Now i have (at the front) upper and lower strut brace and arb.

on FWD cars the back has to be stiffer at the back than the front to grip and handle better (obviously not like that from the factory for comfort and safety) so i would leave the standard front arb on and put another one on the back like the whiteline ones people use. Or you could still put a thicker one on the front and and even thicker one on the back to still making the rear stiffer, also higher poundage springs could be used at the back, these will reduce understeer and improve rear grip.

I got mine from Halfords. They ordered the wrong one in and didn't know what it was for.... I did It was marked up for £30 but i told them that they are £20 new so i offered £10.... they said yeah

I was well seeing as i want the clutch done, while the subframe is dropped, i dont see the harm in doing the front ?
