hi all, bought a 1.0 12v corsa. car runs fine up until 3/4 throttle, after that it dies. any ideas? tps? a/f/m? dont wanna just start buying random parts. no management light on

goes out when i start the car, not sure about when ignitions on, can check if it makes a difference?

Was just making sure that your bulb hadn't been taken out like mine had.

Its deffo the AFM mate it happend to mine coz i had a second hand 1 that was dodgy

Yeah sounds like AFM mate, my X12 had the same problem. I found out on a rolling road it was running lean over 3800 rpm so I'd advise you not to take it over about 3-3.5k, mine was running lean enough to cause damage so your's may well be too.

cheers guys, it is the a.f.m. unplugged it, started the car and it runs much better so got a new one ordered (£30 quid off fleebay new, bargain)

Sorry, to rain on your parade but I got a non-genuine AFM off ebay and it was dangerous on the road, bogged down everytime I went to pull off. Almost ended up with an SLK shaped dent in my drivers door 
I'd go to Auto-vaux if I was you. They do genuine ones for around £100 delivered, bit better than the £250 I got quoted from Vauxhall
