Sorry, to rain on your parade but I got a non-genuine AFM off ebay and it was dangerous on the road, bogged down everytime I went to pull off. Almost ended up with an SLK shaped dent in my drivers door :|

I'd go to Auto-vaux if I was you. They do genuine ones for around £100 delivered, bit better than the £250 I got quoted from Vauxhall :lol:

cheers guys, it is the a.f.m. unplugged it, started the car and it runs much better so got a new one ordered (£30 quid off fleebay new, bargain)

Yeah sounds like AFM mate, my X12 had the same problem. I found out on a rolling road it was running lean over 3800 rpm so I'd advise you not to take it over about 3-3.5k, mine was running lean enough to cause damage so your's may well be too.

Its deffo the AFM mate it happend to mine coz i had a second hand 1 that was dodgy

hi all, bought a 1.0 12v corsa. car runs fine up until 3/4 throttle, after that it dies. any ideas? tps? a/f/m? dont wanna just start buying random parts. no management light on:boggle:
