If you want a pink Sony laptop then why don't you go and look at the Sony website and find out what ones they do in pink.

Forget brands, a laptop is a laptop. You won't go wrong with Dell.

The first link on google points to this

Dell Website

As you can see there, £329 (probably cheaper and delivered free if you hunt for vouchers on HUKD [google it] or anywhere) and you choose from several different colours

What do you not like about their desktops out of interest?

The only difference it'd be to an Acer, HP or any other is the case.

Well im not keen on any pre-built desktops, as I build all my own systems and I recommend building own systems to other people, I just find (in a few cases ive had in the past where ive been repairing systems) that they just use some suss components, cut corners and general have a lack of quality about them.

All IMO ofc

edit - i also HATE with a passion all the shite they bundle on their systems and sometimes the lack of 'hardcore' options in the BIOS etc

Had several and never had a problem myself tbh. It's like anything and any brand tho, whether it be a car or pc, there's always the odd few that fuck up.

If you buy a desktop or laptop from dell in the uk it's probably been built by a robot in Ireland.

They don't always use the most expensive parts but you do get a warranty if they go wrong, it's getting harder and harder to beat them at the low end.

I'd also go with dell for the pink laptop, i've ordered 2 from them in the past, both still going strong.
