to be honest, no two engines are the same. Depends on how they came out of the factory (tolerances mean no two are probably 100% the same), depends on servicing, how frequent the services are, how the car is driven, hence why a bog standard corsa 1.4 may put out 90 bhp as standard and one with a decent induction kit, exhaust and full service history may put out 85bhp simply becuase the engine was never as strong as the one which did 90bhp as standard

Didnt this car that your reffering to had a 'Straight through pipe'? Im sorry but i dont agree with these on small N/A cars

A good mechnic friend thought it were funny to have one on his 106 QS. His were full on stripped out and my sport with 2 passengers could do it It uses to struggle to rev aswell...past 4k nedel would take ages to get to 6.5k. He had a centre box put it - pulled hard to the redline and it were so much quicker in day to day driving. It were quicker with standard exhaust than with straight through

No put they are quiet restrictive as stock to meet emissions so the respond resonably well to modds like this.

There is nothing to get from a 12v because there is nothing there to start off with

Anyways all the money on exhaust and filters etc isnt worth what you pay for them (ie decent exhaust is 300 quid)

Because people are always 'dissing' Regal rollers as generous. And most people take the piss out of eBay adverts that claim mods such as these have added 10bhp. Then suprise suprise, a car with these mods on Regal rollers gets the increase.

That's my point - if it's correct, then fair enough, I'm wrong.
