Bought some wheels of Ian/Planty off here for 60 quid but were in desperate need of a refurb so got on with it

How the wheel started, if you look closely you can see the kurbing on the rim of the wheel, pics dont quite show how nasty some of the marks were

First things first i got out my paint stripping friend Nitromors

After using a very light file and quite abit of going through the grades of paper i got the lip back all nice and smooth.

All primed up

Pugeot graphite gray basecoat

All laquered up, took the pic pretty much straight after the first cot so thats why it still looks wet.

All in all i think they've come up bloody good

I think only Ian will apriciate the work gone into them though as he saw how bad they were in the first place

How did you sort out the massive chunk? Doesnt it make the wheel a slightly off shape if you just file it down? Thinking to having a go at a set in my garden but not sure what to do about big chunks

Got a tyre on it today and all ballanced up and needed next to nothing to balance it
