b16 160bhp
b18 187bhp

not really the same

unless it's a civic type r import engine which has 185bhp which is a b16b i think not b16a

No b18c7 has 187 bhp.He has the b18c4 which is around 167 iirc.

How??

My C20XE corsa pisses on my mates ITR.

He would no doubt beat me on the corners, but roads dont always have corners.

BHP sells cars,torque wins races.

Oh and i was actually in my mates ITR 2night and i dont see what the hype with 'VTEC' is.IMO its just a noise.

TBF that is doo-able.A well set up 106 gti with a driver that dosnt give 2 fucks whether he smashes his car racing a ferrari with the chance of possibly thinking hes owned it, against a driver of a £100k car that dosnt wanna stack it in the nearest hedge trying to race a £2k 106.
That kinda race comes down to balls and how big your ego and wallet is if your the Rarri driver.

A healthy running XE will be around 150bhp.ITR is 187bhp.

But bhp dosnt pull u along the road.

no, not much difference at all

out of interest, how much torque do XE's put out? alan-g-w states in his thread in GC that he has 155bhp and 133lbs/ft. so his is actually less than the ITR anyway

As standard they put out 147bhp and 144lb/ft.Good strong healthy engines tend to make more.
