OK, Ive left my sidelights on all day (no audible alarm FFS!) and the remote wont unlock the car (th light is working on the remote so i know its not that

No lock in drivers door

Key wont work in the boot for some reason

Battery is dead

What the f*** do I do?????

Fook, you with the AA/RAC???

Phone them they will open it without damaging the car

Other wise change the battery in the fob and see if that works.

Theres no problem with the keyfob, its the car battery thats dead

No breakdown cover

Im at work, 40 miles away from the spare keys

Jack car up, take undertray off, connect either a charger or jump leads.

Positive to the starter motor cable, and a earth to the engine somewhere, unlock car, open bonnet, jump off battery / charge battery up

Long shot but try open the bonnet from underneath the car if you can get under it enough then get a mate to jump start the battery and then the fob will open the doors

so you have no tools, dont want to jack the car up and dont want to open the bonnet

Call Green Flag, they do charge you about £30 though IIRC mates G/F needed them a few months ago

keep at the boot lock it might just be dirt inside it thats stopping the key from goin all the way in

its going to be difficult without tools.....

one other thing to try is remove the lock cap blank and check to see if the lock barrel is still there, you may be lucky...

Ask someone at work if there with the AA/RAC the can use there membership to help you. Ive done it a few times now with my old car
