Took the head down workshop to finish off the burring with the dremel, got it all done and nice clearance on each without taking too much away and thinning out the head. Heres some pics:















Next on the lost is a bloody good clean to get all that swarf out, theres loads of it! Then valves back in with the new special stem seals to suit the piper double valve springs!

glad that bits finally out of the way. It was depressing me spending time grinding and getting no where fast lol. Now it's done, it shouldn't be long till it's rebuilt now.

I found it quite relaxing would have gladly done it all lol! Yeah nice and even now just needs a fricken good clean!

the 1st link for the porous heads is my mates website. reckon porous mod can be done for about £8. that v tuning seems a bit expensive though!!

Yeah i heard all you need to do is wack a piece of 8mm alloy tube in with loc-tite.... I dont trust myself with it though !

Id not risk it personally.

Id rather pay v tuning 130 notes to do it. least if they fuck it up its there problem

i reckon ull be best to send the head bare. much easier to work with

Ask them nicely to clean it out

£130 is a rip off for what it costs, even for aengine shop it shouldnt be more than £50
