He scored in the 2008 Champions League Final... but yeah more often than not he doesn't seem to perform against the likes of Barca. Strange.

Yep and in my opinion he does so well over there and scores so many simply because LA Liga isn't in the same class as the premiership, aside from Real Madrid, Barcelona & Valencia there's no real hard games, unlike in the premiership where literally no game is an easy game anymore and any team in the premiership can turn you over, Blackpool are a prime example of this, did'nt they do the mighty Liverpool twice this season?

It will be interesting to see what Cristiano Ronaldo does if Real Madrid actually fail to win a trophy this season again, which i think is quite likely, especially when we will have taken the premiership
