Over the last wee while iv noticed less and less Corsa B's on the road. I remember a good few years back they were fucking everyhwhere, But now it seems they are few and far between, Especially half decent ones.
I used to drive about the town in Glasgow and every second car was a Corsa B, Now there are very few and even then, They're shitters.
Anyone else think there slowly dying off and the boy racers favourite hot hatch will soon be dead?

May I remind you of the nova?
same thing will happen with the corsa
plenty still about just now though
but they'll all rot into insignificance and only some nice examples will be left

So when you look at all these cars in Classifieds that say 'cheap Runabout', In a few years that car could well be worth double its value and sought after?

It's probably difficult enough to find a good condition cheap early sport now.

There's a couple in work who aren't "enthusiasts" and they're absolute sheds. Corsa c's are much cheaper now, hence why they're everywhere.

Yeah, the few i see have roof racks on them driven by 50 year old men wearing Ascot trainers and a newspaper on the dashboard.

Corsa C seems to have overthrown the boy racer Corsa B here.
Don't get me wrong theres still a few Corsa B's around, but tons more Corsa C's, Im sure I know all the Corsa B enthuasiasts in my town
Im not sure about the Corsa B going down the same route as the Nova, I think the Mint Gsi's will be the ones worth abit more money in the future.

I keep seeing the 'chavs' that you expect in Corsa B's, now in Corsa C's, seen as you can start picking up early ones for under £3k.

When I worked at vauxhall we had a bodyshop and I remember having around 4-5 wrote off corsa b's with little damage, people have them for first cars stick a big exhaust on and a big stereo and think they're michael schumacher! Funnily enough I thought the other day myself that there is getting less and less corsa b's on the road. Its a shame but thats life, was sad when the nova died out but cant do anything about it unless manufacturers just carried on making the same cars all the time. IMO corsa c are crap compared with the b but then again I prefer novas over corsa b. Im kinda running my b into the ground and see little point spending shed loads on it as nothing lasts forever and would have to spend thousands making it last and last........

Still lots about here (lincs), but they are mostly tired thrashed examples, i had to search for about a year to find a tidy one, that wasnt a ghey colour anyway. I'd love to know how these kids afford £3k to spend on a corsa c though - i have heart palpitations just thinking about handing that sort of cash over lol

Its true they are, its the same with saxos i remember growing up always wanting an posiden blue vtr/vts but now i think they are like the corsa b just getting far to dated.
They both still look good and even look better than a few of the bubbly modern cars that are coming out so as long as you keep your car clean and healthy they can live on.
