Rob ffs, i'm sure it's not hard to fix it. You've got two weeks! that's ages to get it fixed, will probably be sensor / llambda

infact if i was you i'd just go around checking all sensors are connected tightly and nothing has come loose as - when my crank position sensor was getting loose (over bumps and stuff) the car started running rough then finally one day my car wouldn't even start.

scratched my head for ages and then found the sensor had fallen out because the clip was broken. Put it back in and it was fine again.

I know i've got ages, its the lack of money to buy a lambda/sensor it needs that would be the problem mate

No nothing, from searching it seems most likely, pre-cat lambda sensor or throtle body, both are covered under my warrenty, whether the warrenty company cough up is a diffrent story..

yes I tried driving to my sisters on the motorway with it only firing on 2 cylinders

Was still good for 70 mph just didn't accelerate v.well. I'd still track it like that

in all seriousness though, I could understand if it was a day before, but 2 weeks before should be plenty to get it found out and fixed. I would honestly start by checking everything is tight, cleaning the TB like you said etc, checking llamda is still attached etc.

Perhaps even find someone localish on clio sport with 182 to swap sensors with.

If the warrenty turns up drop it in straight away, though surely if you keep receipts you can just claim it back anyway?

I've spoke to the warranty company and the claim is in process. I havent recieved docs but theyve recieved the change of ownership so its fine to go ahead...

They advised me to take it to a garage, get it diagnosed, then the garage have to phone them and get autorisation for the repairs, I can just see them getting out of it one way or another, most likely with "Thats a wear and tear part" or something like that...

Theyve all ready tried to catch me out, they asked what lights are showing on dash so i said there's 2, he goes oh right one of them the service light then ? I was like ermm.... no emmisions light and engine fault light..

Cause obviously if its not serviced correctly they wont pay up.
