Well back in july i bought a corsa 2.0 from a belieive it or not a police officer up in leiscester. Paid a good price for it & i had lots of fun.

Mods it came with:

full GSI kit
16" irmscher softstars
Scorpion exhaust system
4-2-1 manifold
MHW rear lights
crystal headlights
calibra turbo/v6 set up
avo coilovers

Here's a few pics a couple of days after i bought it:

Then the problems started to happen! the engine decided to give way about 3 months of owning it. We removed the engine & the pistons were hitting the head. Both the pistons & the head was knackered. So i set about looking for a new c20xe, i found a " fully rebuilt engine " on ebay. So we collected it & a few weeks later we fitted the engine, by then i had gone on a little spending spree

i bought the following items.

Full roose motorsport silicone hose kit
re-conditioned f20 gearbox
cool running thermostat
chrome heat sheild
super touring badges
genunine astra gsi turbo badge
various engine bits like new thermostat housing, gaskets, plugs, oil filter, dipstick tube.

Earlier this week we finally got the " fully rebuilt engine " put together with all the hoses etc & we put the engine back in the car. We turned the car over for the first time in 4 months. It started alright but the engine was not a rebuilt one, sounded worse than my old engine did. This was an upsetting moment for me because iv'e put so much time & effort into getting this car ready.

So i went on find a part & told them i was looking for a c20xe, had a phone call in 30 mins from a vauxhall breakers, a deal was done & i get my new engine next week!

since all of this has happend i worked on my calipers because they was painted red & i didnt like that. So after alot of man hours & lots of nitromorse i done this:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

recently bought a rocker cover off ebay for £55 & that included a metal spark plug cover

i added a nice courtenay sport sticker to it

plans are:

1.) Engine
paint the bottom of the block white ( when it gets here )
re-paint the engine bay
lightend fly wheel
arp fly wheel bolts
service parts inc, cam belt kit etc
fit all my new parts aswell like hoses etc

2.) Exterior
depo's
get new wheels or get mine painted
custom exhaust
put my super touring badges on.

Well thats really where the corsa stands at the moment, will be more progress to come next week. Sorry about the essay & i hope you enjoy the read & my plans

ok where do i start!!!???

got the car on the road again about 2 months ago. bought an engine from VPSC & after about a month or 2 the head gasket went!!! its under warrenty so its being sorted as speak. engine bay looked like this

So, after going through 3 xe's & being slightly bored with the power its time for an up-grade! about a month ago i bought a c20let with all new internals & a re-cond turbo. at the moment money is going so fast! i will up-date this thread as new parts arive & when bits get done to the engine.
