I used to love saying i had a corsa gsi when i was 18 then a 1.6 sport.
You guys wanna try telling people you drive a clio, then you get into all the but its a sport and im buying my fist house etc then you just look gay.

Only post-2004 IIRC... mainly the 111R using the 189bhp unit from the Corolla T-Sport VVTi... The Exige uses the same engine as well, supercharged for the Exige S and the forthcoming Elise S

well i have to say i drive a corsa, then the ask what colour,
and whne i say pink , they say omgosh pink! then i have to state that i didnt have it painted pink and that it comes in a pink colour... then the convo ends because i know for a fact they are really not interested.....

this had me in histerics!
But besides the point, i know what you folk are saying, and im still young to they think......awwww young and sporty boy

When i was single, HIGHLY embarrassed. Trying to pull some fittie (or beer goggled munter) and coming out with
"yeah I drive a Corsa"
Wasn't ever a winning line
To other people though, i didn't care. Now i jsut say i ride a bike. Simpler, more manly

as I have to answer it with 'I drive a 106'
which most people imagine as this...
Then if I say, but it's tuned / modified ... they picture this...
So I generally avoid the question...
or when asked just say
"Gti" - and let them decided what it is...

Haha, at least GTI sounds good. Asking me what car I drive when im drunk is the worst scenario, I have to go into the whole, they are limited blah blah, only so many in the country. By this time they are bored.

I don't think many people realise how many Corsa's there are which are 1.6 or 2.0!
It just goes to show how much of a bad rep the corsa has

lol - this reminds me of a guy I used to work with. Constantly claimed to have a Ferrari 355. He was I think 18 and common as muck.
Strangely it was always broken / in the body shop, so he always came to work in his bodykitted 306.
In the end after everyone pressured him to see it, he claimed he had crashed it with no insurance and thus had to get rid of it

I never said i had a modified corsa as people think o dear. used to say- just got a corsa waiting for insurance premium to go down.
i dont mind saying i now own clio sport. i get good reactions with that
