I've just got myself a nice Ripspeed steering wheel from a fellow CS member. I bought a fitting kit of eBay, but got a query with the spacer.

There is a thin metal spacer which sits between the steering wheel and boss, but it doesn't sit in to the centre of the steering wheel. Is it needed? Just wondering if its worth leaving it off or to hunt out one that fits.

Thanks

Just leave it off Matt, don't worry about it in my opinion, when I had my old Momo one I just bolted it straight to the boss.

Cheers mate

Spot on! The boss kit came with another horn button that's a snug fit anyway, so if the metal bit is just for the horn I should be ok.
