He won because he boxed him and thats the long and short of it, muchos respect to the man.

If it was a fight in the street Hatton wins but it wasn't.

the ref ruined it mate, hatton isnt a boxer like mayweather, he gets up close and he does serios damage, thats why hes won so many and never lost, how can you hit somebody who is in your shourts smacking the shit out of you, ref was a nob

Way to much use of elbows and forarms like hatton said.

What pissed me off most was the fact when maywether knew he was on he back foot, he would duck under hattons arms, and hatton got moaned at for holding him down, how the fuck did that work?

I think if he didnt lose that point he would have been better, he defo lost full control after that, as would most id imagine.

Also what was the ref doing going into the corner saying, i may have to pull this, im here to protect your safety???

But, some serious respect has to go out to mayweather, defo a very very talented boxer, the best man won

I watched it and in all fairness Mayweather was the better fighter. Yeah he might duck too low and turn when he's on the back foot but that just shows how clever a boxer he is as Hatton just carried on and continueously (sp?) kept getting penilised for it!

Great stuff that the English got behind Hatton like that though, just abit embarrasing how they spoilt it with booing through their national anthem.

The ref totally spoilt the fight for me.

The fact that mayweather kept turning his back and roping was pissing me off because nothing was done about it!

I'm not saying he lost ricky the fight because he didn't. Mayweather outboxed him and was technically better.

yeh he wasent the best reff, but mayweather was and is by far the better fighter, u can argue till the cows come home but i suggest you watch the fight again floyd was amazing.
