Pretty much decided my next car is going to be one of the above. When my insurance runs out, Il be 21, and have 3 yrs driving experience and 3 yrs NCB, so can finally afford to insure something semi powerful.

My 3 choices are:

Mini Cooper S in metallic grey with loads extras (chilli pack, recaros, aero kit, etc)

Clio 182 in racing blue with both cup packs

Fiesta ST in white

So from the list above, trying to weigh up the pros and cons of each, and work out which is better in the categories I see important, not just from on spec sheets, but from people who have driven them, experienced them, etc and I know this is a corsa forum but many people seem to have had many experiences with different cars, so thought this would be a good place to start. The main things Im looking at are:

Value for money?
MPG?
Comfort inside (leather, etc)?
Spec level (climate control, esp, etc)?
Power?
Handling?
Ride comfort?
Tunability?
Looks?

So how would you say they compare and £ for £, which would you say is better. Prices Ive been looking at are £10k ish for a Cooper S and £8k ish for the Clio and Fiesta

Opinions very welcome

Thanks

(2) st: it a ford not very reliable(sorry JR) but always easy on parts an stunning looking
(3) 182: i wouldnt have 1 probably the most popular car in our garage(renaults) so unreliable an so hard to work on also so fecking picky on parts

this is just my opinion so dont want no arguements

Mini. Does everything well apart from MPG.

Clio 182 is nice if all you are bothered about is power and handling. My mate has one identical to that blue one above

Mini, the clio is a horrid colour and the fiesta does not intrest me at all. However i would have to remove the daft fog lights and change the wing mirrors. If the 182 was a decent colour id probably have that tho.

Depends which Cooper S were on about

IMO and from experiance i would have the Mini over both of them, due to the overall feel, comfort, BMW build quality and supercharger noise

Wouldnt even consider the ST tbh.

I'd be struggling between the Mini and the Clio although I'd be more swaying towards the Mini because its a better built car, more grown up and has a much better looking interior aswell and should hopefully last longer!Think the Clio will be the fastest and most fun of the lot although the Mini's no slouch.

ST is quite nice but pretty slow for what it is

Fiesta is my choice, working for ford i know for a fact these are a good all round car (the stripes look shit though). Havent drove the mini but iv had drove the clio, good fun car but dont think i would own one. Had a feeling they were soft as shit.
