The time had come, when id lost repect for the green machine, and it now just gets abused.

Sooo... i bought a new one

as she looked when I bough it




Got cheap for year, due to dented door, and had a very minor front accident (hence black bumper fitted)

Plans for exterior

GSI front bumper
Colour coded arches
Colour coded CDX rear bumper if i can fine one
Graphite Bonnet
Graphite Tigra Wheels
Depo headlights
MHW rear lights
Astra G side repeaters
Supertouring badges!
Debadged grill

Plans for Interior

Fit OMP yellow bucket seats
Some sort for steering wheel
Harness

Plans for handling

Spax RSX kyproten gas coilovers
Front & Rear strut braces
Lower front strut brace
Rear white line ARB

Stopping!

v6 front calipers, running on fiat coupe discs
rear astra g disc conversion

Plans for engine

a very fast 1.0 12v!!!!!

x10xe bottom end - fully stripped, inspected, cleaned
Rebuilt including new water pump and oil pump
Arp bolts fitted





c16xe cylinder head - fully stripped, cleaned.
Ported and polished
Light skim
Narrow valve seats cut

Warren, this the GSR160 or whatever it is? If so, keep the badges and restick them, or are they stickers?

If so, get them remade, you have to keep the badging original on a special edition like that - maybe even contact Vauxhall's PR/Marketing department and find out everything possible about them?

i have no idea what a gsr160 is tbh, i dont even like the badges!

i saw this on ebay some time ago...

back then it had the post 97 front with irmscher splitter on it... i don't think it sold then, bidding ended at £360 iirc.

Ahhh so this is where my old dBilas kit is ending up!
Glad it's going to fimally get some use.

Looking good and will look 100 times better with your planned colour coded arches, Graphite Tiggy wheels and the Irmy stickers (which I think you should do)

remove all aircon pipe work
remove rust
paint rocker cover either white or black
paint calipers
fit new spax coilovers
