err yes!

after checking all feeds, and a few head scratching moments, found a broken wire, reconnected - and it starts!!!

doesnt run 100% but it revs



bit of a mess round there!

The ones i fitted wouldnt clear the alternator without lowering it!

thats why i fitted it anyway!


cant believe it started up and didn't even tap at all, considering it hasn't started for over a year!! sooo quiet as it should be

rev counter read wrong, its 6500rpm

and after running up to temp, fan cutting in, cooling down

not as if its a new bottom end is it, if it had new rings i wouldn't of done

plus just wanted to here it

loads left to do, but all small jobs

ie change clocks, replace all dash bulbs, fix horn, fit seats, paint strut braces and fit, bleed brakes properly, set rear brakes up

cant be arsed, prob staying as it is, maybe a black roof

will get a new bonnet as currant one is damaged, looking for a boot rust free! and more than likerly colour coded door handles

and get my morretts fitted, well painted first!

brakes bleed, well front as found bleed nipples snapped on rear!!!

pedal abit spongy though

drove the car tonite! clutch bitting point is on the floor

need to get tech 1 on the car as barely runs untill 5,000rpm! coughs, slutters

didnt need tech 1 in the end, worked in out, air flow meter was getting a good seal, rubber seal fitted, now runs sweet

buckets being fitted now
painting strut braces soon
fitting chamber adjusting bolts
and ripping out sub/speaker wires
