Ordered some HID's Monday night and they came today

Started fitting them but ran out of light/feeling in my fingers
Heres the story so far.

6000k HIDS4U 35w kit

Bits and pieces removal

Think i need to clean the filter

Pics to show the difference in lighting

Going to finish them off and put the car back together in the morning as i don't have work

Don't think they are but meh

They'll be more legal in your projecter headlights though and probably spread the light better too.

I made an in car PC on the cheap

Finished them off today.

Had to modify the back of the light to accommodate the new wiring.

All fitted and put back together, I'd only just turned them on so they were slightly blue but when warming up they were going whiter but iwas getting soaked so wasn't staying outside any longer!

Pow -I was trying to find out where people were putting the ballasts!

Cheers guys Not seen them fully warmed up yet, but they don't look too blue in real life and a million times better than the halogen bulbs!

You should have left them on for 15 minutes when you first installed them, I had to do that on mine, not sure if it makes a difference but hey-ho.

Why did you take the bumper off to do it though? Unless of course some of the bolts to get the headlight out are under the bumper, in which case, Ford FTW, 3 easily accessible bolts and headlights out

I left them on for 5 mins, but dont want to kill my battery as im not driving it, will see what happens

2 Head light bolts are behind the bumper, and there is no room at all in the engine bay to do anything with the lights! Stupid VW!
