Thought i would make a wee post since bits and bobs are arriving and its away getting fixed ........

Sapphire Cossie Leather recaros , drivers seat needs sorting thou , dunno if im gonna fix them or sell them off ?? opinions ??

And here is the fuked engine lol bit rough as well but should tidy up good , just need to get it running first then get stuck in about it

and the wee thing that caused the problem

Basically what had happened was the above pulley had sheared off , so sent it over to the guy that done my last corsa turbo to fix , droped it off a week ago , went a seen him last nite to get a wee update , he had the head off and the damage is 12 bent valves , lucky i had 16 sitting , so also ordered up a new timing belt kit , new inlet manifold gasket , new steel head gasket so that should be here in the next few days then its just a matter of rebuilding oh and he managed to get the wee bolt that was snapped in the block out no bother

Slight wee progression , got the car back sunday night there , guy did his job off getting it back running , but....... was driving it home and all it wants to do when trying to come on boost is splutter splutter , then if in say 4th or 5th trying to get past 4k ish is a nightmare and has a bad misfire but ok if you just lightly feather the pedal ( off boost ) , so today i have ordered up some geniune gm spark plugs which i need to gap to 0.6 and some magnecor leads so they will be here tommorow :d so fingers crossed it will sort my spluttering and misfire prob and hopefully boost , i will let yous know how it gets on oh and should hopefully have my softstars on tommorow evening too

just thought id update this , put the above plugs and leads on and still no difference LOL , went to my mates and borrowed his air flow meter see if that did anything , and it has cured the stuttering !! but still no boost so took it over to the guy that does the work for me to investigate , first and only thing he tried and found the problem was! took off the downpipe to check the wastegate is sitting flush with the turbo , and its not !!! loads of play in it so basically loosing all the boost , so i now need to find a new turbo manifold or send this one off to get re-conned , think it will be parked up to after xmas now tbh!! but at least i now know what the prob is .

Will get some pics up over the weekend of it on the softstars and std front lights

here is a couple of crappy pics of how the corsa sits at the moment , its filthy , just not had the time or weather to get it cleaned and polished ,

Managed to tidy some pipes up on the engine! , really needs a good clean and tidy up under the bonnet tho which it will get done over the winter , also going to pick up a turbo for it on sat so hopefully it will be going again as it should once it gets fitted , then its concentrating on tidying it up

im sure yours is deffo fun fun fun to drive , ive had a valver corsa before but didnt rate it much tbh, but sayin that it was std and i had 2 let corsas before that but yours with the power it has should be brilliant , a turbo corsa is really great fun imo just the rawness the way it comes on boost then pulls really hard ! this is my first one that has been modded , ie ph2 , so looking forward to getting it set up and having much fun in it lol . and you should try and get a shot of one mate , even a passenger ride im sure you will love it
