ok guys i wonder if anyone can help! my car sometimes idles very high like 2k rpm so i left it into my mechanic for him to put it on the diagnostics machine! he says that there is a voltage problem from the temp sender to the air flow meter, has anyone had this problem before? and is it possible to get a repair kit for the wiring between the temp sender and air flow meter? any help would be appreciated

temp sensor just tells the car to run more fuel to air when its cold, dought this is your problem,
just look for obvious damage or melting to the wire.
also may just be the ISC valve thats causing this, i need to take my one off and clean mine as its doing roughly the same, rev it and its hanging up on the RPM where as yourone is just stuck in that position due to carbon build up. take it off clean it out and see what it does.
a lot of people will say you cant clean them and what not, yes you cant clean them fully no but if you spray some carb cleaner in the hole you can see its gona blow as much crap as it can out and this might just be the thing to help.
