R Reg Vectra 1.8 Ecotech...
Dash lights didnt work since he has had the car and today the rev counter and speedo stopped working 
Any ideas what it could be? Common problems?

Thats my first port of call, just wondered if there are any common problems that it might be 
Like in the E36 BMWs the fuel guage will stop working beacuse there is one wire that always snaps

Any idea on fuse number for dash lighting? Manual makes no mention to them!
Would it be one of the relays in the engine bay?

Check that all the fuses are the correct ampage.
I think someone has put a 30amp in a 10amp socket
