And beat it... I thought they were quick?

Was down a bypass with roundabouts.. I know the guy too its a proper GT-four not any kind of replica, and he knows how to drive it.. he was trying to get past for about 4 miles...but couldn't...

hmmm drews is rapid and id find it hard to believe even a vectra gsi wud beat him, the acceleration is loads quicker on a gt4 i reckon.......maybe was shagged???

240bhp, 0-60 in low 6`s, thats a lot faster then any V6 Vectra.

nah i dont think he was probally trying , i used to get this allot

pulled up against a saxo the other day at some lights and he was reving so i reved and then went green i pulled away normally and hes ranting like everything and then goes off down the road then does his hazards its like WTF us people with big boys toys dont evern bother with neds in these sort of cars

neds its quite funny cus when that happens i like to then wait a few mins then cog it past them at like 100+

and then do my hazards

depend's what you drive, if you drive a corsa around all day, you will find a GT4 fast, i drive jap turbo's all day and a GT4 to me isn't all that quick

Well there is around a second difference 0-60 between both cars.. one is about 7.5 the other about 6.4 or something... why do people see that such a problem... we were on a slight hill so maybe mine had more torque than his?? P.S. I know the guy, he was racing!.... and his GT4 is not fcuked or he'd know about it, hes a bit of an enthusiast... I was a bit shocked by it myself....

The GT4 uses it's 4wd to get to 60 quickly, whereas the vectra would take longer as its fwd obviously, but after moving i imagine if the vectra is 7.5 0-60 anyway they will be pretty even after the initial traction problem's.

Thats what i thought...once the V6 gets rolling it has shed loads of torque and pins you in your seat..I have been in faster cars that after 40ish didn't feel much faster! its probably the launch that lets the V6 down.... The Gt4 aint no rocket though, quick but not that quick..
