The downsides are it costs a shitload, and it can reduce how well the handling works, even though thats not too common.

Agreed ......

but wont out handle a smallblock corsa with a simular setup, the extra weight up front is noticed in the corners

mate bought a nova from jnc and the engine was fucked a week later. he payed 2.5k for it too. its the one that is allways in there adverts.

there the peeps im going to get to do my C20let conversion
3.5k for a drive in and drive out job, they supplu the engine,gearbox and everything thats needed (including exhaust breaks and suspension)

which i dont think is a price to be sniffed at really, just got to save up my moneys to get it done

The nova you bought was sold by our customer not us, we were just storing it for him. an the 3.5k will include all things like coilovers new brakes an s/s exhaust, but then everyone just looks at the price an doesnt break it down.

no as a rebuild will anywhere from 1k -2k depending on what people class as a rebuild and if your planning on doing that you may as well buy one new from vauxhall.
