Cheers fella, Exactly why I rushed to get the Cav scrapped as I go away for Christmas and didn't want it leaving on the road for someone to steal something else off it.

PMSL @ The Cavalier. Shame as it always looked a tidy car/taxi.

Cheers Wayne

It was a brilliant cheap motor. Was great for lugging engines and other stuff around in, I would of kept it if I could.
Nobody want a cheap Cav so I had to break it. Shell was mint too

I had fun cutting it up though

I can't believe I have only just found this. It's only because your username was there that I clocked it.

I am probably going to cube mine soon. Rather have a stationary house than a stationary Corsa.

The best I have seen was my old R5 shell being taken away by a tractor. They used a baler to pick it up and drop it on a Transit flat-bed. I could have cried when it pierced the roof, it was one of only a few mint panels. (I binned it off after stripping the shell down for a Dimma kit and finding evidence of front O/S crash repair and a new N/S rear quarter!).

The badgers that I gave t to had the tank from it and the block (everything else I had nicked) then dumped it outside my local tip one night. Thank fuck the logbook was never in my name, even though they claim they cut the ID from it?

Hazel Grove pikies
I can't believe you're not gonna finish your project chief, but I do understand the house part

I never actually felt any sorrow cutting up the Cav, I was nearly crying when stripping my old Astra

I will finish it (I have been saying that for 3 years!) cane the f*ck out of it for a week or so (unless something crops up soon that forces my hand) as it doesn't matter if I crash it as long as I don't damage any expensive parts or lose my no-claims.

At present time I expect early summer for splitting it as I am trying to get my mitts on an ex-care home. Quite apt really. It's not in use anymore but I plan to bring it back to it's former glory by abusing children again there soon!

I doubt they'll be much cheaper than £50.
Reason I used the 1.2 airbox is simply what I had. This airbox will be better than the sport airbox as the outlet pipe is much bigger with no restrictive pipe inside it.
The pipe i've used it the same diameter as the XE AFM so perfect really. Just a shame the Corsa uses a small airfilter.
K&N panel filter will be fitted to this.
