I have got one dude yeah but I'm a bit funny about using it lol. Always worry about it rubbing against the paintwork and scratching it Once I've sold the Clio it can go under the carport properly and it usually stays pretty dry under there

No real updates to post really guys Its just been sat in my garage since august gathering dust.

Last week me and a few mates decided to get it out and see if we could get it running right. After seeing Will's post about the smoke machine I got my mate to blow some fag smoke down the brake servo pipe Couldn't see any smoke leaking out though until we opened the throttle body which was a bugger.

I'm still convinced the problem is a leak on the throttle body so next we tried a new GM gasket because the one the one on it before was one that I'd made. Swapped that over and it made it even worse It was actually making a ringing noise it was that bad. So at least now I know where the problem is.

I got the car back out today to crack on with it but I had to work at the last minute and ran out of time. Heres how it stands at the minute -

I've got hold of some threaded bar so that I can try and bolt the 4th hole on the throttle body down properly. I'll update when I've got everything refitted

Just quick question, did you have any of these parts powder coated? I assume the mating parts where taped and not coated too?

Cheers all

Scott I've tried giving the gaskets a light smearing with some sealant but I haven't tried it on its own no. Hate the stuff it always makes a right mess lol.

Generation yes the VX inlet has been powder coated but the mating faces were masked as you say.
