ive only got a 1.0, so something like a 1.6 conversion is what ive been recommended but is it reli worth it?

yes, u will notice a huge difference from a 1.0. however u might aswell just buy a 1.6 instead of converting it

i was thinking about an engine conversion in the near future too will, but ive decided against it, so much easier to buy a corsa with the engine you want already in it.
IMO i would stick with the 1.0 until you've built up your NCB and driving experience, thats what Im doing anyway.
Im keeping the green one though, and perhaps when im in my early 20's stick a LET in it lol.

as long as you look after a car it should last you a while, ive had 2 sri corsas which where both rotten as the previous owners hadn't looked after them.
Ive noticed some of the underseal has started to peel underneith mine, im just going to waxoyl underneath so it prtoects it.

iirc if you did fit a 1.6 in yours you would be paying more on the insurance than you would be for a corsa already with a 1.6 in it as standard.
I might be wrong though, think someone said it on here.

you would love to get bumfucked though. you know my opinion on this... still a corsa unless you go the full way but even then its only good for a striaght line. unless thats what you were aiming for (like nic says it was just a shell to make a fast 1/4 mile car in)
thats why i am fed up with corsas and want a 205 to rag around on track days

you would need to find out whether it counts it as a 1.6 or as an engine converted car
