Well, I moved back down to Swansea Uni on Friday, so took my car down with all my stuff in.

Parked it outside the car as normal, then yesterday just had a normal day in the house with my housemates, and we all went to the pub last night for a quiet drink, got home about midnight.

Got woken by a housemate at 10.30 this morning - 'Mate, somebody has keyed your car.'

Went out to the car to find this:

Very, very pissed off, and I'm only insured 3rd party so can't claim via my insurance for the damage.
Rang the police, and as it has been raining they can't take fingerprints, and there is no CCTV in the street, so nothing I can do about it.

May have to split the car and sell up and buy something cheaper, which I really don't want to do

By the way, had no arguments at the pub, had no arguments at all with the neighbours, and as far as I know I haven't annoyed anybody.

The funny thing is with this type of thing though, the person who did it probably wouldn't even approach you and tell you they're pissed off.

Very much a cowards approach. I hope they made a note of the web address on the sticker and came on for a read. Perhaps they might realise they are a shit bag with no balls.

some people just get plain aggressive if you park in there space or something as trivial as that, or if you had a remotely loud exhaust they may do it. think someone posted a new mini up the other day that it had happened to similar to yours for parking in their space

WHAT

THE

FUCK

that is fucking awful! I would actually burst into tears if that had happened to my car, no matter if it was worth 1k or 10k! once again the police can do nothing about it etc etc so you NEED to take it into your own hands e.g. by parking their again and bait the cunt. it might work, might not. But that is disgusting that someone could even attempt to do that to someone's pride and joy

Thanks guys

Steve, I'm going to get a spraycan from work on Monday or Tuesday so I can do it myself, at least get rid of the writing

Thing is, I park there on a regular basis when I am in Uni, I leave my car at home a lot, but also take it to Uni now and again and parked in the same place for loads of last year, so don't understand it?
