When my tomtom was robbed from my car, there was CCTV there, but all you could se was a "figure" in a hood, face disguised etc.

If they had cctv of yours im sure it would be a similar case.

Really does take the piss, and if i was you i would certainly not leave it at that. Make sure the police see the cctv, and keep pestering them. Also put a complaint in about the officer, as that was out of order too.

Dont go on a big revenge mission, untill the cctv has been seen and confirmed that the police know / dont know the person / people that attacked the car.

The damage to your car is almost identical to that done to my Corsa a couple of years ago.

Plates nicked, every rear panel keyed down to the metal, some paint crap splashed all over my tailgate, tyres slashed and window wipers snapped off.

They also tried to tip my car over, as it was parked on a gravel private driveway and the marks in the gravel showed loads of pushing, the car had slid 3 or 4 feet sideways. I was fucking mortified, and it was only an S reg corsa.

If something like that happened to my ibiza, i can't imagine how i'd feel.
