Basically at the weekend i was trying to get my rear wheels off to paint the drums... and my locker nut snapped inside. So now I can't get any of my lockers off!!
What do I do? If I take it to a local garage can they remove them for me?

yeah they should be able to, they put a tool on which threads the nut, or weld a nut onto it and take it off

depends what tools they have, halfords sell the things you need to thread them, about £10, but you need a high pressure gun to put them on, should only take 10mins if they've got them!

or depending on the type of nut you can sonetimes hammer on a socket that is a close fit

you could drill the heads off then the threaded part would turn by hand.

I went into a couple of garages and none of them could do it except one, who wanted £15+vat per corner!

Order a new key then if that's all that broke. Then put some copper slip on the bolts to stop the seizing up...

I don't know where I could get the key from? When I got the car I was just handed the key, no box or anything?
