My parents have a 42" Samsung plasma, not sure on the model as i'm at work, but the Freeview bit of it doesn't want to work.

You press DTV to access the freeview, but the picture freezes, and it's currently stuck on CH5, sometiems it's just a black screen. Press D.MENU and nothing happens, press GUIDE and nothing happens.

WTF is that about?!

I have a 32" Samsung LCD with the same functions and the Freeview on that works fine, so it's not the signal imo.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a faulty unit to me. Should never freeze on you whatever your doing.

Get them to take it back.
