Got pulled over the other day, copper says my headlights are illegal, i ask y, he says they are aftermarket ones and not bright enough bla bla, i point out that they work and are 'e' marked and are brighter than the ones on his cop car, he says it doesnt matter and says i got 14 days to remove them!
Is that right? They were bought from demon tweeks and work fine and are e marked, so can i tell him to f@@k off, but in nicer terms????

If they're e-marked and right hand drive beam pattern, they're legal.
Did he give you a producer?

Yeah they are right hand drive beam.
He didnt give me a producer, he just threatened he would give me a section 59 if i didnt take them off. Apparently 2 section 59s get your car crushed!
Im having a service in a few days so ill ask the mechanic people there!

Sounds like a nob head copper to me, i'd double check with an mot tester just to make sure you are 100% right then defo complain, seems to just be picking on the 'modded car scene' i suppose?

They can actually get it crushed anyway, and if it turns out they were wrong its still your fault iirc

You can take them to court but its a worthless battle tbh, they will win because they are the law.

If i took them to court tho, and proved them to be wrong then they pay the court fees, and my dad is a employment lawyer, therefore wouldnt hav 2 pay for 1 of them. Which equals me paying nothing? All though could be wrong.
But they are above the law so it doesnt matter anyway.
And my car is worth fuck all anyway lol

MOT cert isnt actually a useful document, it doesnt actually mean your car is legal now, it just means your car was legal and safe on the day of the test and a hope that your car will be safe and legal for a year

Very true, They refused my shogun licence renewal on nothing. No evidence and no explanation. Took them to court for an appeal and they backed dow on the day and gave it back. I then took them to court as i had spent thousands doin so in the first place, even though i had evidence the judge didnt listen and ignored it and cops won.
