Just thought id post a picture of one of our latest projects, its a 2.5L engine, the first ever duratech done to this spec, never mind st!

story of this car, was originally a 2lt then we did a 2.3 on throttle bodies, got 280bhp from it then, but we were aiming for 300+, we then got on the case and developed a 2.5L conversion for the car, this conversion includes a steel knife edge crank forged rods and pistons. The head was originally jamsports ported and polished head. the car currently has a high flow head which has been cnc machined with 1mm oversized valves.

the car will still be limited by the throttle bodies, as proven on the flow bench, this will be rectified by fitting some 52mm throttle bodies when the engine is run in.

anyway enough of that

but here are some pics:

brake upgrade to follow, this will hopefully be done tomorrow so ill add pics of it then.

anyway, what do you all think?

just need to run it in and then have it mapped.
